IMG 1010 - Cross Connections

Description:

Use this pane to establish a cross connection between two TDM channels for passing SS7 Links through the IMG. The Channels can be on any span as long as they are located on the same node and the channels do not have ISDN or CAS configured on them. The channels that are configured using the Cross Connect object will not appear in any channel groups configured.

Accessing this Pane:

Dialogic IMG EMS-> Logical IMG-> Physical IMG-> Facility -> Cross Connects

Maximum Objects:

Can create Cross Connect Object as long as there is a Span/Channel to use.

Field Descriptions:

A Interface-Offset

Select a span from the drop down menu. Spans with ISDN or CAS configured on them will not appear in the list.

A Channel

List of all the channels that are available on the A Interface-Offset chosen above.

B Interface-Offset

Select a span from the drop down menu. Spans with ISDN or CAS configured on them will not appear in the list.

B Channel

List of all the channels that are available on the B Interface-Offset chosen above.

If the IMG 1010 is set up for the T1 protocol, the drop down menu will display channels 0-23. If the IMG 1010 is set up for the E1 protocol, the drop down menu will display channels 1-31.
