Polycom Volume

Polycom Volume

Changing the volume on a Polycom phone is fairly straight-forward:

  1. While on a call, press the + or - key below the number pad to increase or decrease the volume (respectively)

  2. While NOT on a call, press the + or - key below the number pad to increase or decrease the ring volume (respectively)

However - you may find that the volume  doesn't stay put between calls.  This is due to a default setting in the Polycom configuration file.

Our engineering team is currently developing an option to keep volume persistent on Polycom phones and in the near future, there will be a per extension option for this setting.
