DPMA Apps-Conference


Overview

The Conference Room Application lets you see all your conference rooms and view the callers in each conference room. You can then mute or kick any caller from a conference room or dial into a conference room.

Info

  • This application works only with D80 and with mDNS Discovery port is 5060 (DPMA Settings)

  • sangomartapi module must be installed to make it work.

Required Module Minimum Versions

  • conferences - v13.0.23.21, v15.0.7.11, v16.0.5

  • endpoint - v14.0.68.75, v15.0.39.78

  • manager - v13.0.2.9, v15.0.11

  • sangomartapi - latest version

  • sysadmin - v14.0.39.26, v15.0.21.60,  v16.0.5.36

  • userman  - v14.0.18, v15.0.41, v16.0.14

App Requirements

  • sangomartapi module must be installed.

  • At least one conference room should exist.

  • Conference room permission must be enabled for the user(or group) in User Management. For more details please refer:- DPMA Apps Permission

  • The Secure Port for RESTful Phone Apps must be configured in System Admin->Port Management.

  • When changes to the selected conference rooms are made, for the phone to reflect the changes:

    • Regenerating the phone's config file is required. 

    • Apply Reload(or fwconsole reload) is required.

    • If the sangomartapi module was just installed, regenerating the phone's config and reconfiguring the phone is required.

  • When more than 5 rooms are selected, some rooms may not appear for selection within the app.  So selecting a max of 5 rooms is recommended.

Joining Conference Room

  • Tap the Menu button of the phone and click on conference icon.

     

     

  • Tap the JOIN button located beside your conference room number.

     

     

  • If you have more then one conference room, tap the down arrow located beside your conference room number to select other room you wish to join then tap the JOIN.

     

Viewing Conference Rooms

  • All the logged IN members will appear underneath the conference members area.

     

  • The number of attendees who have joined the call can be seen above, along with the time duration.

     

  • When someone on the call is speaking, a small speaker icon is displayed for the user.

Managing Conference Attendees

  • As the administrator, If you want to mute an attendee, tap the MUTE button for the attendee or those attendees.

     

     

  • To mute all the non-administrative attendees, tap the MUTE OTHERS.

     

     

  • If you wish to kick everyone out of the call END CONF button. A confirmation window will appear requiring you to confirm or cancel the request.

     

     

  • If someone has left the conference call, you will notice them faded away for the first few moments before disappearing entirely from the Conference Members area.

  • Press the red hangup button to end the call.
