How to send an external call over an IVR?

This action sends a caller to an external number.

1. Go to Tools → PBX Features → IVR Editor.  

2. Either Create a new IVR or Modify an existing IVR

   1. To Create a new IVR click on Create IVR Menu 

   2. To Modify an existing IVR use the dropdown to Select IVR Menu to Modify. View.

3. Modify Actions

4. Create IVR Actions

5. Action Type: Send to external number

6. Create Send to External Number Action

   1. Number To Dial- Select a previously set variable, or enter an external phone number.

   2. Outgoing call rules for this number- Check the boxes to allow or deny use of each outgoing call rule (just as you would for Switchvox extensions). See Outgoing Call Rules for details.  (WARNING: Use this action with extreme caution because it can be abused by callers.)
