Updating to Switchvox 7.8.2
This article describes Switchvox version 7.8.2 (102409).
This version requires version 7.0 (94939). See the article Updating to Switchvox 7.0  for instructions on migrating to version 7.0. Please note that users may need to clear their web browser cache after the update, so any changes from your prior version are displayed correctly.
Enhancements
Disk Usage Settings
There is a new Disk Usage Settings tab in Server > Disk Usage, that tab offers the following:
Chat File Attachments
Max disk usage (the oldest files will be deleted, to keep disk usage under this amount)
Max file size (when attaching an image file to an internal chat message, the file cannot be larger than this)
Months to keep call logs (call logs are deleted after this period of time)
Months to keep queue logs (queue logs are deleted after this period of time)
The Chat File Attachments settings are added to support an upcoming feature in the client apps. The apps will offer image-file attachments to text messages (internal chat, and external SMS).
Sangoma Connect Mobile Settings
Setup > Settings now includes Switchvox-wide settings for Sangoma Connect Mobile users:
Define the Emergency Numbers that will be dialed using the mobile phone's native phone app. When one of these numbers is dialed, the call is not placed using the Sangoma Connect app, it’s placed using the mobile phone’s native phone app.
Turn ICE on or off for Sangoma Connect Mobile users. This affects Sangoma Connect only, not any other kind of phone attached to a SIP Phone extension.
Switchvox Mobile Softphone is Removed if it Does Not Already Exist
If the Switchvox Softphone for Mobile is not actively assigned to at least one SIP Phone extension, it will not be available as a phone-type to be assigned to an extension. See Sunsetting Switchvox Mobile Softphone for details.
For features such as Status and Visual Voicemail on your mobile device, use the Switchvox Chat app for iOS and Android.
Issues Resolved
It's now significantly faster to log in or out of a Hot Desking phone.
When a desk phone is handling a user's call and there is a call indicator in the Desktop Softphone app, you can now correctly create a new Sangoma Meet.
The D-Phone/P-Phone default Assignment Code can now be used immediately on install without first going to Phone Assignments and saving the settings.
Preceding + symbols on a number are no longer preventing a call-back when dialing through the voicemail access extension.
The Monitor feature code extension now works correctly when trying to monitor a call that is happening on a user's Additional Phone extension.
