Phones - How do I disable the stop recording softkey on a Digium phone?
The Digium phones have a softkey to record your current active call.
When someone else, such as a supervisor is recording your call, this softkey becomes a Stop Recording key.
To disable this option you must disable the record/stop record softkey completely.
In /admin GUI, go to Setup > Extensions Manage
Modify the extension you want to disable
Go to Permissions tab
Open Use Calling Features
Put Record Own Calls to NO and save.
This will cause the record softkey to be greyed out on the digium phone disabling it as well as the stop recording key.
