This version requires version 7.0 (94939). See the article Updating to Switchvox 7.0  for instructions on migrating to version 7.0.  Please note that users may need to clear their web browser cache after the update, so any changes from your prior version are displayed correctly.

Enhancements

For the desktop and mobile apps:

  • Efficiency enhancement for the apps' Manage Favorites features

  • Support for the Change Password and Force Password Change features in the desktop app version 3.3.2

  • Allow a desktop-softphone-app user to move a call to Sangoma Meet even when there are no other app users on the call

Known Issue​

  • Switchvox 7.9.1 is affected by a known issue related to multiple Status Indicator buttons programmed on D-Series and P-Series desk phones. We recommend Switchvox deployments with multiple Status Indicators on their desk phones await resolution in our next release, which will be available very soon.

​​​​​Issues Resolved

  • Users navigating VM by dialing 899 would have the call terminate if option 3 (Advanced Message Option) was selected 

  • Voicemail Screening would fail if a call was transferred to voicemail via a feature code

  • Admin Voicemail Usage no longer shows additional phone extensions, which don't have their own quota

  • Queue setting "Receive call while on a call" would fail sometimes when someone was a member of multiple queues and already had calls from another queue

  • Bulk Modify for SIP Phone extensions would fail sometimes if a Virtual SIP Phone extension was included in the list of extensions to modify

  • The Sangoma Connect Mobile Refresh button would remove all phone configurations, and now refreshes the configurations without removing them

  • Modifying the line label for secondary accounts on a Sangoma desk phone would not update on the phone

  • An automated process for user-initiated call recordings would create unnecessary files
