How to alter your Caller ID using an IVR

  1. Tools > IVR Editor > Create IVR Menu

  2. Give the new IVR any name. Save the IVR Menu.

  3. Create Action > Action Type: Alter Caller ID

Note - The Alter caller ID action can either prepend, append or replace the entire caller ID. The prepend will add to the front and append will add to the end.

  1. Next, select which part of the caller ID you wish to change (caller ID name or the caller ID number).

  2. Use this text to modify the Caller ID: Enter the text that you want to display on the altered caller ID or use the text from a previously set variable.

  3. Save Settings
