How to enable option 66 in Windows DHCP Server

Scenario: You have Digium phones in a remove network and you want to have these phones automatically connect to Switchvox so it can get their configuration, instead of manually pointing the phones.

This can be done by using option 66 on your DHCP server. The following screenshot shows the proper configuration on a window DHCP server:

If phones other than Digium phones are going to be directed by this same Option 66, then this method should not be used.

For Switchvox version 6.4 and later, port 5060 must be used. For earlier versions of Switchvox, use port 5062, as pictured.

Also, please make sure that your Access Control and IP configuration > Additional Networks are properly configured (if the phones can connect to the internal IP of the Switchvox) in order to allow access.
