How to setup e911 outgoing call rule.

Login as an administrator to the Switchvox:

1. Go to Setup -> Call Routing -> Outgoing calls.

2. Click on Create Outgoing Call Rule

• Rule Name: 911

• Number begins with the digits: 911

• The rest of the number must be between 0 and 0 digits in length.

• Before connecting the call, trim 0 digits from the front, and then prepend the digits BLANK to the number

• Primary Call Through Provider: Select the provider

• Is this rule final? Yes

• Allow all existing extensions to use this rule?

              Enable above option to use this rule for all extensions
              Disable above option not to use for all extensions.

• Save Outgoing Call Rule

3. Under Outgoing Caller ID rules:        

Create Single Rule to display correct caller ID number when All extensions are making outgoing call through rule 911
