Description:
In software 10.5.2 a feature was added to allow the IMG to accept a SIP message which originally had no ISUP information in it and create a SIP-T message which has the ISUP information embedded in its SIP body. The information below will explain how to configure the IMG to accept the incoming SIP message and send it out a SIP-T message.

Field Descriptions:
SIP To SIP Interworking: (Disabled - Default)
Select from a drop down menu whether the SIP to SIP-T Interworking is Disabled or Enabled. When enabled SIP-T Entity field can now be modified.
To Enable SIP-T, the "Enable SIP-T" field in the SIP Signaling object must be set to 'Yes'. Verify that this field is configured correctly.
SIP-T Entity:
When 'SIP To SIP-T Interworking' field above is enabled, the SIP-T Entity field will display a drop down menu which includes all the SIP Entities created under the SIP Signaling object.
For each of the ISUP Parameters described below the individual fields are initially filled-in with f's. A field that has all f's in it will send a Default value for that parameter. Each parameter explained below will have a link set up. The links refer to a table which includes values for that parameter (binary form). Where applicable the Default value is marked in bold text. If the default value marked in bold is not going to be Interworked, the user must enter a hex value corresponding to the value that will be used.
IAM - Nature Of Connection Indicators:
The Nature of Connection Indicator is sent in the forward direction to provide information regarding the circuit connection specified in the CIC parameter of the message. This message is one byte. Click on the following link to display a table of the Nature of Connection Indicators. Where applicable, the default values are displayed in bold. These are the default values that the IMG will Interwork when feature is enabled.

IAM - Transmission Medium Requirement:
The transmission medium used in a call setup is sent in the backward direction in the event that the original circuit requested could not be used.. This parameter then identifies the circuit type and is carried in the ANM, ACM, and CPG messages. Click on the following link to display a table of the Transmission Medium Requirements Table (Octets 1 and 2). Where applicable, the default values are displayed in bold. These are the default values that the IMG will Interwork when feature is enabled.
