Troubleshooting One-way Audio

One-way audio is most often the result of improper network configuration.  At no time ever has Fonality experienced a one-way audio situation that was a direct result of the PBXtra when all hardware functions correctly.

If a hardware problem exists with the PBXtra , please contact Fonality Support.

For all other one-way audio issues, please ensure that your firewall is allowing the following ports:

  1. UDP 5060 - SIP signalling

  2. UDP 10000-20000 - SIP audio.  The entire range of 10000 ports is required.

  3. UDP 4569 - IAX2 signalling and audio

All of the ports listed should be open to and from the PBXtra without any NAT or PAT if possible.  Any firewall option such as SIP Fixup should be disabled.
