Business Voice Portal - Location Information Guide

Overview
The Location Information and Additional Location Information links provides access to detailed information about your system. The location is automatically created once a quote is finalized. Follow the steps below to enter/modify Location address information, Billing Contact information, Business Hours/Schedule, After Hours Contacts and a number of key system features e.g. Directory Sort Order (you can set this option to play the directory to callers by First Name or Last Name), Multi-Location Directory (you can configure the system to play the directory to callers for all locations associated with your system), Announce Extension on Directory (this announces the selected directory entry to the caller), Key System Mode (Call Park and Retrieval using visible shared park positions on certain phone types), Park Positions (select the number of park positions required), Enable Personal Authorization Codes (authorization code is required when dialing out), Enable Advanced Scheduling (Create detailed routing rules for your DIDs / Numbers).
Location Information
Access the Business Voice portal and select the CONFIGURATION option at the top of the page.
Search and Select the required location.
Select the Location Information or Additional Location Information link in the left side menu.

The Location status page has 4 main areas:
Location status
Partner information: displays information about the installing partner
StarBox status: (Business Voice+ locations only) Provides basic information about the StarBox including the model, MAC address, software version, the last time it was rebooted and WAN addresses. On the top right of this box is also an option to view the installation notes and leave additional location based notes as needed
Extensions status: This summarizes all the extensions at that location into 3 categories:
On: Currently Active
Off: Activated, but currently offline
Critical: Never been activated/ or online
To display all extensions, click the in the top right corner of the Extension Status box and you will be taken to a new viewing page with additional details
Location inventory
Phone Numbers: displays in a simple donut chart all the assigned and unassigned numbers for that location. Hovering over either of the areas will provide a numerical value as well. In the top right corner of the box, is a link that redirects the user to the Call Routing page
Phones: displays all the devices currently assigned to that location. In the top right corner of the Phones box is a link to download an Asset list as a .pdf
Location performance: (Business Voice+ locations only) This section gives users the ability to view the overall performance of voice at their location. Using the dropdown menus, users can view performance over the last 4 hours, last day, week, month or year. The graph on the right side of the box also shows Calls in Progress for the same time ranges
Location activity: Displays the last 5 calls made from that location. In the top right corner is a link to go to the Reports page.
Basic Location Information
Update the Service Address and/or Billing Contact information.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of this page to save any changes.
Additional location information
Note: Departmental Parks is currently only available with Business Voice +.
