What to do when g.729 doesn't work

After registering your g.729 license you may experience a problem where calls fail when trying to use the g.729 codec. This is because the codec needs to be properly enabled in order to function. You may see messages in the error log similar to these:

Follow the simple steps below to resolve:

  1. Navigate to Server -> Maintenance -> System Reload

  2. Click Software Restart

Note: This will drop any current calls on the system.
