Business Voice Portal - Display Label

Overview

By default, all phones on the Business Voice and Business Voice Plus platform display extension numbers on their screens. However, there are cases when the Extension Name might be a preferred display. The BV Portal allows users to update this setting for supported Yealink phones .

NOTE: This feature is available on both BV and BV+ locations for supported Yealink phone models.

Accessing the Display Label Option

  • Access the Business Voice portal and select the CONFIGURATION option at the top of the page.

  • Search and Select the required location.

  • From the Left Side Menu:

    • Select Individual phone settings

Updating DSS Key Length

①  Search for the Yealink extension to modify 

②  In the new Display Label field, select from the drop down

- Extension’s Number - is the default setting for all extensions and will display the extension number only

- Extension’s Name- will display the name entered in the BV portal

Once all changes have been completed, click the   SAVE CHANGES TO SYSTEM button.
