How to Implement a UK Ringback Tone

Switchvox does not have the ability to set a UK ringback tone but there is a workaround that can be done. To implement an UK ringback tone:

  1. You can either record one or visit Download one from the internet 

  2. Using the Upload function in the Music On Hold section (Tools > Music On Hold), upload the file into a group

Note: it's preferable that the ring tone is located on its own group 

  1. Edit the queue and in the Caller Experience tab select the following settings

    1. Queue Callers Hear: Music On Hold

    2. Music On Hold Group: <Group that you uploaded the ringing tone>

    3. Announce Position in Queue: Off

  2. Click Save Call queue and test the changes.
