HUD2 Outlook Integration

HUD Pro comes standard with Outlook Integration for every version of HUD.  To enable Outlook Integration, all you need do is install the Outlook Plugin from the HUD Client interface.

1. With HUD running, click on Options --> Installed Components

2. Select Install Outlook Add-on (or Re-install if that is the available option)

3. The Outlook Add-on installs within seconds

4. Click on Options --> Installed Components one more time

5. Select Install Windows Dialer (TAPI)

6. The TAPI driver installs within seconds

What you have accomplished:  By installing these two components, you are enabling a function in Outlook where you can call any contact by right-clicking on the contact and selecting Call from the menu displayed.

Note: Fonality did not program, code, or contribute in any way to the TAPI driver.  This is a Microsoft technology packaged with every version of Windows since Windows 3.1.  If the TAPI driver fails for any reason - you need to resolve the issue with a Microsoft Windows installation disc to repair the driver or via Windows Help.  Fonality, like many companies, integrates with the proprietary TAPI technology - we cannot do anything to fix the driver.

Outlook Integration is only supported for the Windows HUD Client.  Though Microsoft supports Office applications on the Machintosh, Fonality's HUD Client does not integrate with Outlook for the Mac.
