Switchboard How to Create a New Layout User Training

This article is a companion document for the Switchboard How to Create a New Layout video. You can create a Switchboard layout tailored to your work flow or job description. Switchvox Administrators can create standardized layouts, which can be pushed out to all users to save everyone time.

Click the Layout Editor button.

This displays several layout options: the default layout, any layouts you've already created, layouts that have been created for you, and Edit, New, Copy, or Delete.

Click New

Give this new layout a name and add desired widgets, such as My Calls, Parking Lot, Contacts & Tags, Voice Mail, and My Queues.

You can change or move these selections around in the layout until you are satisfied. Then click SAVE to save the layout.
