Softphone 5.0.1 Missing Directory Contacts

After updating to the Switchvox softphone app v.5.0.1, you may encounter a problem with accessing the Contacts on the Switchvox softphone app.

  1. To resolve this, refresh the QR code under Setup > Digium Phones > Softphone (or Mobile Softphones) tab > click on blue arrow to Refresh.

  2. Reset the softphone app by going to the ... on the bottom menu options. Select Settings > scroll down to the reset icon (red screwdriver icon) and select. This will reset the Switchvox app. If all else fails, simply delete and reinstall the app from Google play or the App Store.

  3. Then Login (or re-login) to the User Extension Web Portal page /main and click on the QR code to zoom out the QR token.

  4. Open the Switchvox application and point the phone's camera at the QR code on the screen. It should configure within 30 seconds.

Your Contacts should reappear on your Switchvox softphone app. If you still have problems, please contact Technical Support for further assistance.
